Sole Look

The Nike KD 11 is a must cop for any sneakerhead

In the middle of May, we got our first look at the Nike KD 11, Kevin Durant’s latest signature sneaker. Now, we’ve got a much better look – and a possible release date.
While Durant hasn’t been wearing the KD 11 during the Finals, it seems foolish for Nike not to debut the shoe with millions of eyes on the Warriors. The shoe features a Flyknit build, like the KD 10, but appears to draw inspiration from a Kobe model for a better fit.
However, the KD 11 For Sale will bring significant upgrades in cushioning; both Nike React foam and full-length Zoom Air will be used in Durant’s latest shoe. According to design sketches shared by Heidi Burgett, Nike’s Senior Director of Global Communications, the rubber cupsole should stabilize the React midsole. The full-length Zoom Air unit is top-loaded above the React, which should make for a well-cushioned ride.
Interestingly, the small window in the clear outsoles explains the tech in the midsole. Beneath the outsoles, which use a wave-like traction pattern comprised of long blades, are all kinds of multicolor graphics.
If you are still searching for a pair of unique sneakers to add to your collection, then look no further than the Nike KD 11 On FitMySole.
